The problem of stylistic redundancy on the example of the work by S. King "Institute" and its translation into Russian language

This article is devoted to the problem of the emergence of stylistic redundancy in the translation of English-language fiction into Russian. When creating a translation into Russian, the author inevitably uses a large number of stylistic means, which distorts the text by the reader. This problem seems to be relevant to us since achieving stylistic adequacy and equivalence of translation is one of the most difficult tasks. The research is based on the text of the original work by Stephen King "The Institute" and the variants of his work created by translators. The study used such methods as field, stylistic and comparative analysis.
