The article presents innovative methods of teaching science disciplines in a modern university. Introduction of innovations into the teaching process of the educational institution which will further help to make your tasks and the decisions you take more creative. Nowadays an innovation is implemented through dialogue, diagnostics, distance learning, computer and other teaching methods. Interactive methods are used as means of creating an atmosphere of cooperation and mutual understanding in the academic group, taking into account the positive and negative aspects. The methods of teaching students, as well as educational research, are studied. Also, the reasons for the shift in a paradigm of approaches to teaching are pointed out. The main conditions characterising the level of teaching are presented. The essence and the methodology of teaching technology for students, as well as educational research, have been identified. The structure of the students’ scientific and research work as a basic component of the teaching is presented.
