Potential opportunities for using podcasts in the lesson of the foreign language

The article reveals the theoretical and practical issues of using podcasts in the lesson of the foreign language. Special attention is paid to the analysis of sites that present podcasts recommended for using in the process of teaching English. The article offers various ways for using podcasts in teaching of listening, for the formation and improvement of speech competence.
