Influence of phonetic interference on English language learning

The article is devoted to the problem of the influence of phonetic interference on the process of teaching English to bilinguals. The concept of interference, its positive and negative aspects at the beginning level of setting articulatory features of oral speech in a foreign language are considered. The opinions of native and foreign experts are studied regarding the influence and methods of preventing this phenomenon for Russian and Tatar-speaking students of the primary level.
