Formation of professional qualities of students of sports universities: a pedagogical problem

The relevance of the article is due to the fact that the successful professional activity of future teachers, bachelors and specialists of physical culture and sports is determined not only by the presence of a certain level of knowledge, skills and abilities, but also by the formation of such personal components as goals, motivation, abilities, stress resistance. For a comparative analysis of the personal components of the readiness of students of a sports university for professional activity, we used such test methods as: PSM-25 Lemur-Tessier-Fillion psychological stress scale, organizational stress of K. Maklin in the adaptation of N. Vodopyanova was used to identify the degree of personality stability, tolerance (stress resistance) to organizational stress, the orientation of the personality to motivation for success and to avoid failure (according to the method of T. Ehlers), life-meaning orientations (the method of SOE) of D.A. Leontiev. The study involved students of the basketball and volleyball department in the number of 40 people, 1st year students of the Volga State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism.
