Career guidance psychological and pedagogical consulting in activities of an educational psychologist

This study considers career guidance psychological and pedagogical consulting as one of the activities of a teacher-psychologist.To implement the tasks and objectives of the scientific work, an analysis was made of the psychological and pedagogical, scientific and methodological literature that studies the problems of career guidance and the direction of the activity of an educational psychologist. Professional career guidance psychological and pedagogical consultation helps to adapt the educational process to the individual educational route of the student, ensures the effective development of independence, and realizes creative potential in future professional activities. Career guidance psychological and pedagogical consulting in the activities of an educational psychologist can be carried out not only in the usual full-time format, but also by means of on-line testing and consultations, designing a section with career guidance information on the page of an educational psychologist on the website of an educational organization.
