Inter-language interference as one of the sources of grammar errors in the situation of learning bilingualism

The article discusses the content of the concept "interlingual interference" from the point of view of psycholinguistics. The article presents an analysis of grammatical errors caused by interference when students complete the written part of the basic state exam in English. 243 students' works completed during a trial exam in the Bryansk region in 2020 were analyzed. A continuous sampling method and a quantitative method were used to determine the frequency of grammatical errors caused by interlingual interference. The author comes to the conclusion that a significant part of students' grammatical errors is explained by the influence of their native language on the language system being studied.
