Emotive semantics in exclamationstatements in Chinese art works

This article is devoted to identifying the specifics of linguistic means and the peculiarities of expressing units with emotive semantics in exclamation statements in a Chinese literary work. The material for the analysis is the novel by the Chinese writer Mo Yan "Tired of being born and dying" ("生死 疲劳") and its translation into Russian by I.A. Egorova. In the literary text of Mo Yan, the entire totality of units with emotive semantics is reflected. The article discusses the typology of units with emotional semantics V.I. Shakhovsky, reveals the specificity of the expression of each of these types of emotive units in exclamatory expressions in Chinese fiction. It is demonstrated that connotatives are often represented in the Chinese language and have stylistic specificity; potential emotiveness requires us to have a good knowledge of the cultural characteristics of the original language and the options for their verbalization.
