Development of a practice-oriented approach to training engineering personnel in technical universities of the Russian Far East

the article examines the historical experience of the domestic higher technical school of the Soviet era in organizing practice-oriented training of engineers on the example of technical universities in the Russian Far East. The main stages of transformations in the system of engineering education are traced in connection with the changing needs of the Soviet economy and in the context of the tasks of forming specialists who have not only deep fundamental knowledge, but also practical skills and knowledge of the practice of socialist construction, adapted to production conditions.
