The use of a sauna during the preparatory period of the annual cycle of training qualified ski racers

The article discusses the training loads and types of physical exercises performed by ski racers in the conditions of training camps. The body systems that are most influenced by this chosen sport are identified: cardiovascular, respiratory, musculoskeletal system and large muscle groups. The necessity of using pedagogical, psychological and biomedical means of restoring physical performance has been established. One of the most effective means is the use of a dry-air and steam bath. A method of using hydrothermal procedures is proposed, taking into account the training loads performed and compliance with the daily regime. Monitoring the use of the bath and testing the current state indicates an increase in activation and physical well-being, an increase in tone and calmness indicators and a decrease in emotional arousal.
