Self-study work of students studying Russian as a foreign language is an instrument and fund for optimizing the educational process (pre-university stage of study)

The article presents the results of a study aimed at identifying ways to optimize the process of teaching foreign students Russian as a foreign language who want to get an education in the territory of the Russian Federation. In the course of the research and the achievement of the goal set for it, an analysis of the forms and methods of extracurricular independent work of students used today at the pre-university stage was carried out, and the significance of this activity from the point of view of improving the quality of education in general was scientifically substantiated. The identification of problems and difficulties on the way to the development of the Russian language by foreign students helped to determine the possibilities of overcoming them and the formulation of specific ways to improve the quality of the educational process under study at the pre-university stage of education. In particular, by creating by the teacher a problem situation requiring resolution or conditions, the analysis of which leads the student to understand the existence of a problem and the need to overcome it through a meaningful modification of previously mastered information. As recommendations, examples of successful use of electronic learning tools developed on the basis of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia are given, which can significantly improve the quality of the process of teaching foreign students Russian at the pre-university stage of training, thereby facilitating their passage of the adaptation period and successful mastering of program material in the framework of professional training.
