Methods of word formation of nicknames by "animal color" in the Even language

This article is devoted to the little-studied field of onomastics – zoonymy. The article discusses some features of the word formation of nicknames by the color of an animal in the Even language. When analyzing zoonyms with the help of various suffixes, the study of these speech units revealed their universal features and ethnospecific features of the use of Evens in speech. The word formation of nicknames based on the color of an animal is of undoubted interest not only for researchers, philologists, as well as students of the Faculty of Philology when writing term papers and theses. The article is written on the basis of materials collected from native speakers of the Even language in the village of Berezovka, Srednekolymsky ulus RS(Ya).
