Trends and prospects for the development of distance learning in institutions of higher medical and pharmaceutical education in the current pandemic

This article discusses the problems of distance learning in institutions of higher medical and pharmaceutical education in the current pandemic; it is noted that the achievement of the goals of education is not impossible without the use of organizational models in distance learning to support distance learning of students in institutions of higher medical and pharmaceutical education; the direction, criteria and indicators of distance learning are determined; the main principles and forms of distance learning are presented; the necessity of compiling an individual educational route containing the maximum information about the student using distance learning technologies is substantiated. The scientific novelty of this article lies in the fact that it presents the basics of model development and the principles of distance learning. The significance of this article is determined by the fact that the study of the problems of secondary vocational medical education and the prospects for its development allows us to assert that full individualized distance learning is a matter of the distant future, but still a large number of students combine full-time studies with scientific, labor activities, and sports and others, therefore, it is necessary to bring to the fore the creation of a system of individualized education for such students, the search for organizational solutions, as well as appropriate didactic support.
