Synergetic teaching of design drawing and design color in art and design education

Design drawing and color have always been two required core courses in art teaching. The study of these two courses allows students to gain an in-depth understanding of light and darkness of objects, color relationships, and modeling. How to improve and develop the teaching of design drawing and color courses has become a major theme of teaching reform in art colleges. This article summarizes the meaning and challenges facing the Drawing and Color in Design course and suggests specific strategies for curriculum reform. A major challenge in contemporary art teaching is how to improve students' ability to express themselves and create, and to prepare them to become applied design talents.
