Some features of the meaning and functioning of words with fuzzy semantics in mass media discourse (by the material of the German language)

The article is devoted to the functioning of language units that have lost or changed their meaning in oral discourse. These linguistic units (words and expressions) are analyzed on the example of mass media discourse regarding such communicative situations in which oral speech is characterized by a certain degree of unpreparedness and spontaneity. The article provides a generalized description of the meaning of words and expressions with fuzzy semantics in oral speech on the example of an interview in German, determines the list of their functions and the significance of studying this linguistic phenomenon in terms of analyzing the processes of generation and internal programming of speech.
