Development of terminology metallurgical production of the XVIII century: morphemic structure and methods of word formation

The article considers the formation of terms and terminology units describing metallurgical production of the XVIII century. The study of terms has carried out in accordance with the text theory of the term, which made it possible to determine the types of texts in which the terms and units functioned. Terms and terminological units have considered using morphemic structure and methods of word formation. The morphemic structure of single-word terms and terminological units has studied through morphemic analysis. The study of terms and terminological units revealed the features and main methods of word formation; it has found out that the dominant methods of word formation were the affixes method and the method of word formation.
