Philosophical disciplines teaching in English at a Russian university: relevance, problems, solutions

Reasons and importance of teaching philosophy courses (as well as other disciplines) in English language in Russian universities for foreign students are substantiated in the paper. The current problems of teaching are highlighted, difficulties in the process of communicating in English with foreign students, difficulties of teaching philosophic disciplines in English are revealed, some ways of solving problems and means of increasing the interest of English-speaking foreign students in the course "Philosophy" are proposed. The author analyzes the content of the philosophy courses in the available English-language educational literature, shares practical experience.
