The role of environmental factors in the development of agriculture among the Buryats of the Irkutsk province at the turn of the 19th- 20th centuries

The article discusses the historical local experience of agricultural nature management by the Buryats of Cisbaikalia in various departments and tribal administrations in the pre-revolutionary period and its change under the influence of socio-economic processes associated with the development of capitalism and the resettlement policy of tsarism. Conclusions are drawn about the importance of observing environmental standards in the management of agriculture, its relevance in modern times. It is emphasized that the depletion and reduction of arable land, deforestation led to a deterioration in the rational nature management of the Buryats.
