Summer camps of cattle breeders of the middle mountains of the Altai republic

The article describes the life and structure of Altai summer mountain camps in the middle mountains of the Altai Republic. In the course of the historical development and reduction of traditional nomadic territories, the result of the search and adaptation to new conditions was the development of a system of vertical cattle breeding in the Altai economy. In winter, cattle are kept in lowlands protected from the wind, and in summer on high-altitude pastures.
