Problems of pedagogy and education in the theoretical heritage of J.-F. Lyotard

The article is devoted to the analysis of the pedagogical aspects of the philosophical heritage of Jean-François Lyotard, in which for the first time the most important positions of postmodern pedagogy are revealed. It is shown that the philosopher's analysis of the problems of vocational education, considered by him through the prism of an autodidactic approach, formed the conceptual basis for introducing the category of "competence" into pedagogical circulation in his work «The Postmodern Condition». The characteristic is given to two didactic levels of professional training offered by the philosopher. Message from J.-F. Lyotard to pedagogical issues had a great influence on modern educational practice and the theory of postmodern pedagogy.
