The relationship between the indicators of physical development and physical fitness of athletes with the peculiarities of intellectual development at the initial stage of handball classes

The article discusses the theoretical foundations of assessing the physical fitness of athletes with intellectual development characteristics and proves the importance of establishing comparative and individual standards of physical fitness. To confirm this concept, in the control group of handball players aged 14-16 with intellectual development characteristics, the density of relationships between the results of physical fitness tests and physical development indicators was calculated. To determine the reliability of the results, a partial correlation relationship was determined between individual indicators of physical development of athletes with features of intellectual development at the initial stage of handball classes.
