Some aspects of forecasting scenarios for the development of Dagestan languages in the context of globalization

The article discusses the development of Dagestan languages in the context of globalization, suggests the most obvious scenarios of the evolution of the language situation for the next decade. As a starting point, the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of the signs of the current situation in the Republic of Dagestan are determined The analysis made it possible to conclude that solving the problems of preservation and development of Dagestan languages requires improving the language legislation at the state level in order to avoid the development of unresolved language problems into larger ones that complicate the socio-political situation in the region.
