Etymological and word-formation analysis of the oronyms of the Shandong peninsula

This article discusses the most famous oronyms of the Shandong Peninsula, their origin, semantic meaning, ways of word formation. The types of toponymic nominations and semantic groups of oronyms of the Shandong Peninsula are given in the study, the proto-forms of oronyms and initial meanings are studied. Chinese civilization is one of the most ancient in the world, on the territory of which Shandong province is considered the cradle of the origin of culture and the center of the main ethical and philosophical teaching of China - Confucianism. Since the objects studied by us with various forms of the earth's surface are the most ancient, therefore, the use of oronyms of this area is reflected in numerous monuments of ancient Chinese history, which will be considered in this study.
