The process of arming the Nizhny Novgorod reserve militia in 1812

The article is devoted to the consideration of the peculiarities of the arming process of the Nizhny Novgorod reserve militia of 1812: the identification of the number of weapons and the analysis of the class-corporate features of the era identified in the process of collecting weapons. Based on the study of the materials of the Central Archive of the Nizhny Novgorod region and the analysis of historiographical data, the general and special features of the reserve militia corps at an early stage of its formation are revealed.
