Typological analysis of intermediate linguistic systems

The article deals with the issue of the functioning of intermediate linguistic systems in the society. Particular attention is paid to the problems of the emergence and functioning of the language of intermediate competence - interlanguage. The results of a comparative analysis of five intermediate linguistic systems, the most common in the world, are presented. The question of the special linguistic status of interlanguage is raised. The text discusses the causes and patterns of its occurrence, independence, consistency, stages, dynamism. The novelty of the research is seen in the fact that the true nature of the functioning of intermediate linguistic systems is revealed and described. The relevance and significance of the problem under discussion lies in the analysis of the emergence and functioning of these systems. Their analysis is able to reveal the psycholinguistic mechanism of the model of their formation, and to identify filters that select from a potentially infinite variety of linguistic units and their elements only those that are functionally significant for a given intermediate linguistic system. The paper gives definitions of intermediate languages ​​and interlanguage, presents their typology. Focusing on interlanguage as the most relevant intermediate system in demand in modern society in terms of mastering it, the author reveals its features. The article presents the author's development of a typological analysis of intermediate linguistic systems and their distinctive features.
