Development and difference between the concepts of basic legal terms: "law", "legislation" and "law"

The purpose of the study is to consider the definitions of basic legal terms – “law”, “legislation”, “law” based on the material of legal dictionaries and to identify patterns of development of the basic concepts of legal terminology. The novelty of the study lies in the comparison of the concepts of the basic legal terms of the Russian language in different periods of their formation, as well as in a systematic analysis of interconceptual relationships. This is the first similar study of Russian legal terminology in China. The results of the study show that, on the one hand, the system of legal terminology is relatively stable, especially for basic legal terms related to legal practice, the main conceptual content of which remains practically unchanged, and on the other hand, changes in the concept of basic legal terms to a certain extent reflect the process of development of legal science.
