Fire plays an important role in mythology and religion. This is a manifestation of divine power, and purification, and punishment, and destruction. It symbolizes death and rebirth for a new life. Also, the semantics of the fire element includes home comfort and security, the designation of the border and the way to cross the border. All these functions of fire have been embodied in folk tales. The characters of fairy tales with the help of fire escape from evil, cross the border of the other world, die and rise again.
