Forming a healthy lifestyle among higher university students

The article is devoted to certain issues of students' formation of a value attitude to their state of health, active maintenance of a healthy lifestyle in the process of studying at a higher educational institution. Data are presented that the level of knowledge of cultural norms in the field of health among some students is insufficient; there are gaps in the formation of the concept of "health", and there is also a partial lack of harmony in the way of life that students lead. The study obtained data that a small part of students observe the daily routine, eat right, optimally combine the processes of sleep and wakefulness, etc. Analyzing the results of the study, it can be assumed that with favorable social factors and a properly organized educational process at the university, the introduction of health-saving technologies in the educational and extracurricular activities of students, a healthy lifestyle can become an essential need of the younger generation. As well as the purposeful educational work of teachers, aimed at teaching students the knowledge and skills of leading a healthy lifestyle, can give effective results in the formation of a generation of healthy people.
