On the question of functional homonymy in the Russian language (on the example of the lexeme how)

The article is devoted to poly-functional lexeme « how», which can be used in Russian Language as a unit of the lexical system and as a unit of the grammatical system: it is part of the means of connection of the components of syntactic structures. In the article types of means of connection with the lexeme « how» is facts, semantic and syntactic analysis of structures is performed, the role of this lexeme is defined. The research was carried out in the traditions of the Vladivostok scientific school, which applied the «from construction».
