Spatial and time relations in modern fictional discourse

The article is devoted to the study of the problem of space-time relations in the artistic discourse of modern English literature. Differences between the terms artistic discourse and literary text are explored. The phenomenon of artistic space and time is analyzed by applying the concept of L. Talmy on the example of the novel by the British writer A. Thorp "Ulverton".
