Conceptualization of cold in the linguistic consciousness of evens

The article describes for the first time the cognitive and value-evaluative features of the concept COLD in the linguistic consciousness of the Evens. In the Even linguoculture with the definition of cold, frost, cold, polysemic lexical units are used - iӈen, iӈen՚si, hyalta, going and their phonetic variants identified in the Even dialects. The study of cognitive conceptual features made it possible to identify a number of differential features expressed in the form of metaphors and stable comparisons. The value-evaluative features of the concept in the worldview of the ethnos are presented in the form of gestalts, associations that semantically express the criteria for assessing native speakers to the climatic phenomena of WINTER.
