Precedent units as a prototype of creating the internet game in antiphrases

This article examines the role of precedent units in the creation of riddles-antiphrases based on the linguocognitive principle of contrast. The relevance of the study is motivated by the growing interest of linguists in the peculiarities of the use of precedent units and their transformations in the Internet space. As a result of the analysis, the frequency types of precedent units that served as prototypes for transformations were identified; the most significant cultural archetypes and constants for the linguistic consciousness of modern Russian speakers are determined.
