Methodological features of work on a text in the process of forming communicative competence of students in secondary school

The article discusses the features of working on the text as an effective means of forming the communicative competence of students in secondary school. The system of work, based on the principles of the text-centric approach, is a set of developed types of exercises that contributes to the development of linguistic skills and abilities of students, the development of their communication skills. Particular importance is given to pre-text and post-text tasks.
