Moscow toponymics in the works of I.S. Shmelev

The article is devoted to the use of the toponyms of Moscow and the chronotope of Moscow of 1870-80s in the works of I.S. Shmelev. The author analyses the image of old Moscow in his works “Pilgrimage” and “The Year of Grace”. The conclusion states the expediency of creating a map of Moscow based on Shmelev’s works.
