Features of the development of the hieroglyphic part of the "language portfolio" for students and users of the Chinese language

The article presents a comparative analysis of the perception of the alphabetic and hieroglyphic writing systems, which allowed us to determine the peculiarities of the formation of the hieroglyphic part of the language portfolio of those who study Chinese; the main difficulties for native speakers of the Russian language when memorizing a large number of its written signs are identified – the development of the ideographic principle of encoding information. Another distinctive feature of hieroglyphic and alphabetic methods of written transmission of information is the connection between graphic symbols and phonemes. At the same time, when forming a “language portfolio”, the student should be guided by the goals of its application. The article also provides a description of the well-known systems for assessing the formed communicative skills of a foreign language (HSK and CEFR), which determine the volume of descriptors of the language section in question, necessary for passing the examination test. Generally accepted assessment criteria make it possible to determine the level of language skills with a greater degree of objectivity.
