Psycholinguistic models of text comprehension in Russian and foreign literature

This article deals with different psycholinguistic models of comprehension process in Russian and foreign literature from the inception of the discipline to the recently presented models. The comprehension process from the psycholinguistic point of view happens on the intersection of physiological, physical, psychical, cognitive, linguistic processes, so the existing models of comprehension as well have completely different structural and theoretical basis. Nevertheless, being focused on the same object, they allow to examine thoroughly enough existing theoretical and empirical data concerning psycholinguistic process of comprehension.
