Feminitives and methods of working with them in the classroom on the Russian language and culture of speech with students of a law university

The article considers the actual phenomenon of the modern Russian language – feminitives, the problem of using which is important for students of law and other universities. The relevance of the problem of using feminitives in oral and written speech is demonstrated by the example of consideration of some documents accepted for execution in different states. The purpose of the work is to describe the proven methodology of working with feminitives in classes on the Russian language and speech culture with law students. The authors offers a system of working with feminitives, which involves performing exercises at the levels of words and texts. The paper demonstrates exercises that can be used in the process of considering this linguistic phenomenon when studying the official business style of speech. The result of the work is a demonstration of how the business language is changing in the use of feminitives, and the strategy of working with this language phenomenon in classes with future lawyers is determined. However, these methodological exercises have a universal character, since they can be used for teaching students of other specialties. The proposed method allows not only to consider an interesting linguistic phenomenon, but also to develop a conscious attitude to the choice of feminitives in everyday (colloquial) and in oral and written professional speech.
