On the issue of the formation of the students’ lexical competence at college

The article deals with aspects related to the stages and conditions of lexical competence formation. The author considers the concepts of " terminology "and" lexical competence " from different points of view, speaking about lexical skill as a structural component of lexical competence, paying attention to its specifics and conditions of formation.
