Modern construction texts (by the example of the German language)

Volokhova Vera Vasilievna  (Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor, National research Moscow State University of Civil Engineering)

The purpose of the study is to analyze the most commonly used syntactic means in werden/sein + Partizip II construction texts from a cognitive point of view, using a semantic perspective. The scientific novelty of the study is that in the analysis of these structures, for the first time, data from cognitive linguistics were used to establish the main functions of the studied structures in the German language. As a result, it has been proved that the main task of the werden/sein+Partizip II constructions is to enable German speakers to interpret an event as an action, process, state. Building texts, using these constructions, indicate that the focus is mainly on the reported facts, and the involvement of the subject or instrument in these structures using the prepositions von, mit, durch allows us to interpret the events of reality in a different way.

Keywords:professional language, passive constructions, agent, lens, semantic perspective.
