The article considers the lexical antonymy of verbs as content words (verb) in the Even language since they are of great importance for the systematic description of the vocabulary semantics due to the fact that they are united by identity and community.
The purpose of this work is to use synchronous analysis to identify the layer of antonymous verbs of the Even language as well as to give their linguistic description.
Previously published folklore materials as well as a bilingual dictionary of the Even language were used the material of the study. The material analysis uses a lexico-semantic approach and analysis method.
The results of the study showed that verbs that denotei opposite directions and processes in dynamics enter into antonymous relations in the Even language. Being one of the large lexico-semantic classes, verbs are classified into groups, based on the meaning of the action they denote.
