Problems of the health care system of the Republic of Buryatia in the 1990s. on the pages of the republican newspapers "Pravda Buryatia" and "Youth of Buryatia"

In the article, the authors consider the reflection of the problems of the healthcare system of the Republic of Buryatia during the period of cardinal transformations that took place in the country in the 1990s on the pages of the republican periodicals "Pravda Buryatia" and "Youth of Buryatia". The political and economic changes that took place in the Russian Federation, as well as in the Republic of Buryatia, affected all spheres of life of the population. Against the background of the economic crisis, the standard of living of the population was inevitably falling. Insufficient financing of the healthcare industry has directly affected the state of the system, as well as the level of public health of the population. We find a reflection of all these problems on the pages of the republican periodicals Pravda Buryatia and The Youth of Buryatia. After all, in these years it is the mass media that become a kind of "mouthpiece" of the time, they become an instrument in the formation of a new political system, a new model of public relations. The materials published in the newspapers become a reflection of the time, of all the ongoing processes. Therefore , we can fairly judge the historical epoch by them . In the article, based on the analysis of newspaper publications, we determine the state of the health care system, existing problems, and the health of the population.
