Reflection of the nation’s cultural code in the language of English magic fairy-tales

The article analyses the reflection of cultural codes in the language of English magic fairy tales. Its main focus is on the correlation between the linguistic forms used and the ideas of the nation about time, the living space, the living and material world, as well as the main values of the people. In addition, the study of the behavior of the main characters of the tale helps to understand the peculiarities of the English national character.
