Implementation of anthropocentric principle in creative multimodal discourse

This article is devoted to the study of anthropocentric, pragmatic and cognitive features of multimodal creative elements in various types of online and offline discourses in English. Linguistic creativity is researched from the standpoint of the cognitive-discursive approach. The factors that determine the degree of the cognitive resonance and dissonance in multimodal creative elements during the inference of the meaning are established, and general mechanisms of linguistic creativity are described.
