The specifics of academic art education at the Chinese Academy of Hangzhou in the XXI century

This article discusses the specifics of art education at the Hangzhou Academy. As an example of an academic model, it consistently conceptualizes the principles of traditional academic education of students, based on a synthesis of eastern and western traditions. In the context of this article, we will consider the main provisions of the theory and practice of teaching painting, which influenced the creation of a model of the academic education system at the Hangzhou Chinese Academy of Arts, and study the problem of the influence of European, American and Russian schools on Chinese teaching methods.
