The article examines the features of the use of phraseological units in the works of S.T. Aksakov, identifies semantic and grammatical groups of phraseological units, analyzes the system connections of phraseological units in the context of the works of S.T. Aksakov, examines the vocabulary of limited use included in the phraseological units and reflecting the colloquial flavor of the Orenburg province, creating the specifics of the writer's idiostyle.
