V.I. Vernadsky on the evolution of the biosphere and the ecologization of consciousness

The article presents a brief overview of V. I. Vernadsky's scientific views. The problems of the evolution of the biosphere and its transition to a new state – the noosphere, as well as the role and place of man in this process are considered. The creative genius of a scientist is compared in level and significance with the greatest geniuses in the history of mankind. The article analyzes the state and importance of the disciplines of the natural science cycle in school education, which forms an ecologically literate worldview, as the basis of the culture of a modern person, a resident of the planet Earth.
