Anthropocomponent gul "flower, rose" in Turkic personal names

The article discusses the linguistic and cultural features of simple and complex personal names with the phytonymic component of gyol "flower borrowed from the Persian language; rose "in Turkic languages. In accordance with the localization of the gul element "rose, flower," all complex-set personal names having this anthropoformant are divided into three groups: 1) names in which the anthropoformant is fixed in the preposition of complex names, 2) names in which the anthropocomponent is fixed in the postposition of complex names and 3) names in which the gul element is used as in The branched system of semantic relations, represented in the structure of complex personal names, is a witness that the gul is a symbol of beauty, grace and tenderness.
