Principles of the analysis of the phonosemantic structure of poetic speech in the works of V. Weidle

This article is an attempt to comprehend the views of the philosopher and literary critic of the Russian diaspora V. Weidle on the phonosemantics of poetic speech. Weidle believed that the reader perceives poetry not only by the power of imagination, but also by inner hearing. That is why, according to the critic, poetic speech should be studied only by the methods of philological sciences – linguistics and poetics. The conducted research allowed to formulate and systematize the principles of the analysis of the phonosemantic structure of the poetic text, developed by V. Weidle.
