The British invasion of Iran: actions of the British group of troops in the Ahvaz direction in southwestern Iran during operation "Consent"

The article discusses the entry of British groups of troops into Iran in August 1941 as part of a joint operation with the Red Army. An attempt was also made to analyze the basics of the "English Field Service Charter. Part III. Operations and higher formations. 1935" the course of military operations of British troops in the air, at sea and on land in order to capture strategically important communications and facilities in the area of southwestern Iran. The seizure of the world's largest oil refinery in Abadan, Iran, allowed the British government to provide fuel to all British forces in the Middle East.
