This article discusses the theoretical perspectives of sociolinguistics and philology in combination with the research content of anthroponyms, and also uses the method of quantitative and qualitative analysis of anthroponyms. Based on the statistical results of sample data, linguistic elements such as the form, sound and meaning of people's names are mainly analyzed and explained, and through a comparative study of the differences between the formation periods of the PRC, clans, cultures and other factors. In particular, great attention is paid to the study of the names of the generation of the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s. The study of the human name is connected and intersects with many disciplines, such as: folklore, sociology, cultural linguistics, and so on. From ancient times to the present day, the culture of personal names of each period is closely related to its specific characteristics of the era and political and economic development. Thus, by tracing the evolution of the system of personal names, we can indirectly observe changes in the history of China. At any time, Chinese names have been the crystallization of the wisdom of the Chinese nation and carried the vision of the future of Chinese sons and daughters. Studying the culture of the origin of Chinese names can not only study the traditional vision of the people, but also explore the origin and development of naming. In the course of our research, we also found that Chinese names have much in common in their meanings, and at the same time, due to gender differences and public opinion, dominant in a given period, which is also of particular scientific interest.
